Edna Arlene Smith Todd, age 91, of Galax, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday October 30, 2024 at Grayson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Independence, Virginia.

Mrs. Todd was born in Grayson County, Virginia on August 21, 1933 to Claude and Alta Jennings Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lee Todd Sr., sister Virginia Carr, and brothers Ralph Smith, Harold Smith, and Porter Smith.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Patricia 'Trish' and Jeff Wolford of Austinville, Virginia; sons Bobby Todd and special friend Michelle Fink of Galax, Virginia and Scott and Teresa Todd of Galax, Virginia. She is also survived by six grandchildren Shannon, Carlie, Leslie, Hope, Holly, Jonah; and great-grandchildren Gavin, Mason, Austin, Adriana, Hunter, Matthew, Eliza, and Tucker.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday November 2, 2024 at 11am in Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home Chapel, with Sammy Burnette and Pete Hawks officiating. Burial will follow in Crab Creek Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends on Saturday from 10am until time of the service.
