Edna Gentlee Smith's Obituary
Edna Gentlee Smith age 76 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Monday afternoon at Waddell Nursing Home.
She was born in Welch, West Virginia on September 30, 1934 to Charles Columbus and Lillie Mae Burks Isom.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Diana and Richard Hutchens; Stacey Smith all of Woodlawn, Virginia; Polly and Larry Phipps of Galax, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Mike and Linda Smith of Woodlawn, Virginia;
grandchildren Melissa Anne Hutchens, April Virginia Hutchens, Richard V. Hutchens, Jr., Dustin Bobbitt, Brandon Phipps, Kaitlyn Smith and Logan Smith, one great-grandchild; sisters Juanita Blankenship of Dundalk, Maryland; Rita Pence of Ronceverte, West Virginia; brothers Jimmy Isom of Dundalk, Maryland; Charles Isom, Jr. of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; Allen Isom of Atlanta, Georgia; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, November 4, 2010 at 2:00 PM in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Bob Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from one until service time at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
