Edna Chappell Shore's Obituary
Edna Chappell Shore age 84 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014 in the Waddell Nursing Home.
She was born in West Virginia on April 23, 1930 to Bruce and Edith Massey Chappell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson Anthony Shore.
She is survived by her daughter Deborah Bennett-Bruce of Denver, Colorado; son and daughter-in-law Billy D. and Amanda Shore of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren Christopher Bennett; Alexandria Shore and Bransen Shore; uncles Howard Massey and Jim Butler; nieces and spouses Carlene and Roger Poole; Sheila and Randy Mays; special friends Mario and Chyarisse Jimenez; Nathan and Sonya Farmer and family.
The funeral service will be held Monday, June 9, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Daniel Royo and Pastor Darry Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from six until eight at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
