Edna Montgomery Norman age 89 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, November 18, 2019 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Norman was born in Carroll County, Virginia on September 3, 1930 to Kelly H. and Eula Ann Norman Montgomery. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Billy B. Norman.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law Sue and Calvin Griffith; Sandra and David Hankley all of Galax, Virginia; two sons and daughters-in-law Frank and Peggy Norman of Hoover, Alabama; Phillip and Tabatha Norman of Hillsville, Virginia; six grandchildren Jeremy Norman; Melodie Haas; Ashley Griffith; Sarah Jefferson; Abagail Norman; Dalton Norman; six great-grandchildren; sister Betty Roberts of King, North Carolina.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 3:00 PM in the Felts Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Ernie Smith officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. Flowers will be appreciated or donations may be made to the Snow Hill Baptist Church.
