Edna C. Lineberry age 75 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015 in the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina.

Mrs. Lineberry was born in Galax, Virginia on December 31, 1939 to Lonnie and Blanche Bartlett Carico. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Dean Lineberry.

She is survived be a daughter Glenna Cornette and a son James D. Lineberry both of Woodlawn, Virginia; two grandsons Jacob Cornette and Jordan Cornette; great-granddaughter Aleigha Beamer-Cornette; sisters and brothers-in-law Kate Livengood of Salisbury, North Carolina; Levon Petty of Galax, Virginia; Wanda Caudell; Joyce and Raymond Davis all of Fries, Virginia; Rachel and Doug Shaw of Independence, Virginia; Shirley Ann and Brady Bryant of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; special friend and neighbor Sandra Smythers.

The funeral service will be held Friday, February 20, 2015 at 4:30 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Ted Bartlett officiating. Burial will be in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 3:30 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, North Carolina 27017.
