Edna Christine Kirby age 67 of Fries, Va. passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at her home. She was born in Carroll County, Va. on August 15, 1940 to Elbert Heath & Stella Mae Martin Quesinberry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Donna Sue Kirby; sister Etheleen Waller and three grandsons. She is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law Carla & Edward Norman; Edna & Rodney Vaughan; Donna & Mike Stone; Shelby Kirby; sons & daughters-in-law Delmas & Linda Kirby, Sr.; Allen & Sherry Kirby all of Fries, Va.; father of the children Larry Kirby of Fries, Va.; sisters Ernestine White of Fries, Va.; Imogene Davis of Pulaski, Va.; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Saturday, June 28, 2008 at 11:00 am in the Fries Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Rick Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from seven until nine at the Fries Church of God of Prophecy. Flowers will be appreciated or donations may be made to the Fries Fire Department.
