Edna Faye Nichols Guynn, 83, of Fries, VA passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2008 in the Twin County Regional Hospital, Galax, VA. She was born May 23, 1925 to the late Walter and Rose Brooks Nichols in Grayson County, Virginia.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Martin Guynn. She is survived by daughter & son-in-law Sandie & Gene Adkins of Martinsville, VA; son and daughter-in-law: Allen & Janey Guynn of Galax; granddaughter Kimberley Burnett Nichols, two great grandchildren: Richard Corey Byrd and Hunter Chase Nichols; sister and brother-in-law: Lorene & Reid Robertson of Elk Creek, VA; several nieces & nephews.

The funeral service will be held Friday December 26 at 11:00 Am in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev.Bill Linkous officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Felts Cemetery, Galax, VA
