Edith Orfie Roach McCrobie age 85 of Salisbury, North Carolina passed away Monday, February 20, 2024, in the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House.

Edith was born on February 23, 1938 in Raleigh County, West Virginia to Sankey and Orfie Cox Roach. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John William McCrobie, Jr..

She is survived by her adopted daughter Maxine Morgan of Galax, Virginia; sister Alma Morgan of Salisbury, North Carolina; adopted grandsons and special friend Kody Morgan of Salisbury, North Carolina; Gage Shiers and Ashley of Hillsville, Virginia; one niece Gina Guidry of Louisiana.

The funeral service will be held Friday at 2:00 PM in the Fries Baptist Church with the Rev. Marc Bewley officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Fries Baptist Church.
