Edith Rosemond Grimes' Obituary
Edith Rosemond Grimes age 85 of Fries, Virginia passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016 at her home.
Mrs. Grimes was born in Galax, Virginia on July 18, 1932 to Boyd and Cora Wingate Carr. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Roy Wilkerson Grimes.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Patricia and Everett Stanley of Fries, Virginia; son Steve Grimes of Galax, Virginia; four grandchildren Scott Grimes; Ashley Grimes; Jacob Stanley and Matthew Stanley; four great-grandchildren; niece Patsy Bowman; nephews Mike Paisley and Russell Paisley.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 15,2016 at 2:00 PM in the Fries Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery with Pastor D.G. Fox officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
