Edith Pauline Isom Gravley age 96 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2025  in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Gravley was born in Galax, Virginia on August 25, 1928 to Lonnie and Mae Catron Isom. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Walter Ellis Gravley; son Charles Gravley; siblings Annabelle Bunn; Ruth Dotson; Georgie Lineberry; Henry Isom; Junior Isom; Stuart Isom;  Albert Isom and Paul Isom .

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law Darrell Gravley of Galax, Virginia; Alan and Lynn Gravley of Woodlawn, Virginia; brother Raymond Isom of High Point, North Carolina;  grandchildren Eric Gravley; Jessie Gravley; Alisha Green; Brianna "Nikki" Gonzales (Carlos); Heather Gravley; Ariel Gravley; Cabel Gravley Lydia Denton; Brandon Gravley and Lauren Felts; thirteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Friday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Franklin "Butch' Isom and Evangelist Wade Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 PM until time for the service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
