Edith Geraldine Spivey Bullion age 87 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Bullion was born in Galax, Virginia on August 13, 1930 to Fred and Mary Hall Spivey. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Fred M. Bullion; sisters Iva Lee Melton and Opal Edwards; brothers Arthur Spivey; David Spivey and Guy Spivey.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Judy White; Debra Kay and Bobby Gibson; Mary Helen and Terry Hanks all of Galax, Virginia; sons and daughters-in-law Greg Bullion of Blacksburg, Virginia; Jimmy and Patricia Bullion of Woodlawn, Virginia; Fred and Susan Bullion of Foster Falls, Virginia; sister Ila Mae Largen of Galax, Virginia; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Monday, January 22,2018 at 10:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Camet Spivey officiating. Burial will follow in the Galax City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from six until eight at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
