Eddie Carl Mallory age 65 of Galax, Virginia went home t be with his Lord and Savior on Friday December 23, 2022.

Eddie was born in Pulaski, Virginia on May 25, 1957 to David Samuel and Mary Fisher Mallory. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law Mary Conniff Mallory.

Growing up in Fries, Virginia, he developed a lifetime passion for hunting and fishing. His family moved to Galax, to provide an opportunity for the boys to play football. Following graduation from Galax High School, he went on to James Madison University. After graduating he became a Sales Executive for over forty years. He loved playing golf and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by a son Cole Mallory of Galax, Virginia brother Dave Mallory of Sunset Beach, North Carolina; sisters and brothers-in-law Joyce and Danny Hill; Kathy and Stacy Sikes all of Galax, Virginia;  several nieces and nephews; special friend Barbara Bourne and his canine companion "Charlie".

A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 2:30 PM in the Felts Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Rick Clark officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
