Early Boyd Thomason, Sr. of Galax, VA passed away, Sept. 8, 2007, at the Twin County Regional Hospital, Galax.
He was born in Galax, VA, July 29, 1926, to Coon Boyd and Mary Ethel Hall Thomason.
Surviving are the following: wife, Virginia Alene Thomason of the home, daughter and son-in-law, Lois Irene and Edwin Love, Galax, sons and daughters-in-law, Early Boyd, Jr. and Cathy Thomason and James Lee and Lisa Thomason, of Galax, Sisters, Lottie Bowers and Margaret Newman, Galax, Shirley Price, Fries, Lillie Mae Joyce, Mt. Airy, NC, brothers, Bill, Daniel and Herman Thomason, all of Galax, six grandchildren, one step grandchild and one great grandchild.
Funeral service held in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel, Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007 at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in the Galax City Cemetery, Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
