Duran Scott Jones age 29 of Max Meadows, Virginia passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at his home.
Duran was born in Galax, Virginia on January 27, 1986 to J.C. "Ikey" and Linda Ruth Linville Jones.
In addition to his parents of Fries, Virginia, Duran is survived by his daughter Isabella Marie Jones of Galax, Virginia; sisters and brothers-in-law Michelle and Craig Hoffman; Regina and Matthew Carico all of Christiansburg, Virginia; paternal grandmother Alluria Jones of Fries, Virginia; nieces and nephew Adriana Hoffman; Damica Carico; Noah Hoffman; several aunts and uncles; several cousins and lots of special friends.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Galax Church of God of Prophecy with Pastor Titus Anderson and Brother Ricky Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in the Fries Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from six until eight at the Galax Church of God of Prophecy.
