Douglas Wayne Newman's Obituary
Douglas Wayne Newman, age 54, died in Clyde, NC Saturday, June 5, 2015.
Mr. Newman was born in Hillsville, VA Dec. 22, 1960 to Donald Asbury & Ruth Ann Amburn Newman.
He is survived by his mother and brother, Ronald Newman, both of Hillsville, VA. Several aunts, uncles & cousins, also, survive.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 2;00 PM in
the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel, Galax, with burial to follow in the Blue Ridge Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, June 8, 2015 at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home from 7:PM until 9:00 PM. Officiating minister will be Pastor Scotty Patrick. Flowers will be appreciated, however, memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Ridge Chapel Cemetery Fund.
