Douglas Conley Milgrim age 82 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, March 9, 2020 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.

Mr. Milgrim was born in Carroll County, Virginia on August 17, 1937 to Parker and Pearl Marie Moore Milgrim. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Platt Milgrim and Ronnie Milgrim.

He proudly served his country in the US Air Force.

He is survived by his son Christopher Milgrim of Windsor, South Carolina; one grandson Ryan Milgrim; brother and sister-in-law Delano and Louise Milgrim of Independence, Virginia; sisters-in-law Alyce Milgrim and Evidene Milgrim; nieces Renay, Joan and Andrea and a nephew Daren.

A graveside service will be held Thursday at 2:30 PM in the Oakland Cemetery with Pastor Rodney Christman officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
