Douglas Lee Gravley's Obituary
Douglas Lee Gravley age 72 of Fries, Virginia passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2010 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mr. Gravley was born in Grayson County, Virginia on April 14, 1938 to Harvey and Pearlie Faulkner Gravley. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Terry Gravley.
He is survived by his wife Elsie Widner Gravley of Fries, Virginia; daughter Logena Rippey of Galax, Virginia; sons and daughters-in-law Toby and Dreama Gravley; Bobo and Linus Gravley all of Fries, Virginia; brother and sister-in-law Jerry and Brenda Faulkner of Fries, Virginia; sisters-in-law Linda Faulkner and Teresa Faulkner both of Fries, Virginia; Patty Faulkner of Galax, Virginia; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews; many special friends.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Cliffview Church of God with Pastor Ron Hill and Rev. Junior Bullion officiating. Burial will follow in the Fries Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from six until eight at the Cliffview Church of God.
