Douglas (Doug) Lansford McMillan

Douglas Lansford McMillan known as Doug McMillan age 85 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday July 23, 2026 at his home.

Doug was born on July 6, 1941 to Elvin and Zelma Bowman McMillan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth McMillan; brothers Larry McMillan; Donnie McMillan, Charles Mabe and Tim Mabe.

He is survived by his adopted son Joseph McMillan; sister and brother-in-law Mildred and Terry Watson of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; special niece Tina Johnson; several nieces and nephews.
