Dossieree Ayers Williams, 86, of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, May 29, 2015 in the Waddell Nursing Home and Rehab, Galax, Virginia. Dossieree was born February 17, 1929 in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Wesley Fonzo and Nellie Mary Bowers Ayers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Rex Williams.

Dossieree was a loving wife to her husband of 42 years Rex Williams. She was also a mother, grandmother & great grandmother. Dossieree was a faithful member of Mt. Pisgah Church of Christ for the past 50 years. She never met a stranger and always had a smile on her face.

Dossieree is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Debbie and Dennis Frost of Galax; brother Bill Joe Ayers of Galax, grandchildren and spouses DeAnn and Christopher Smith of Hillsville, Virginia; Amber and Aaron Combs of Galax; great grandchild Landon Smith and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service and burial will be held Sunday, May 31, 2015 at 2:30 PM in the Monta Vista Cemetery with Marvin Williams and Lawrence Warden officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM.
