Dorothy Louise Wilson, 74, of Fries, passed away Friday, February 6, 2009 at her home. Mrs. Wilson was born January 16, 1935 to Charlie & Anna Mae Arnold Jones in Grayson County, Virginia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers Clarence Jones & Garfield (Sap) Jones; a sister Mildred Smythers, brothers-in-law & sister-in-law: Bill & Catherine Wilson, Terry Wilson, Dan Bartlett and cousin Marvin (Bo) Arnold.

Surviving are her husband: Bobby R. Wilson of Fries, daughter JoAnna Wilson of Fries; sons & daughters-in-law: Greg & Barbara Wilson of Fries and Gary & Betty Wilson of Independence; grandsons & spouses: Brent & Krista Wilson, Josh & Kim Wilson, Patrick Wilson and Benjamin Wilson; two great granddaughters: Ariel Wilson and Aetheldred Wilson; brother-in-law: Bill Smythers of LaPlata, Maryland; sisters-in-law: Carlene Jones of Fries & Joyce Garvey of Michigan;sisters-in-law & husbands: Lois & Robert Ramey of Galax; Linda & David Morris of Roanoke; Carol Bartlett of Burlington, North Carolina. Several nieces, nephews, cousin, friends and caregivers over the years also survive.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 7 until 9 at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Sunday, February 8, 2009 at 3:30 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Bob Adams officiating. Interment will follow in the Fries Cemetery.
