Dorothy Quesenberry Weddle's Obituary
Dorothy Quesenberry Weddle age 87 of Charlotte, North Carolina and formerly of Galax, Va. passed away Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Carolinas Medical Center.
Mrs. Weddle was born in Carroll County, Va. on October 22, 1921 to James E. & Millie Goad Quesenberry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Josh Weddle.
She is surived by her son Raymond E. Weddle of Charlotte, N.C.; grandchildren Rebecca Weddle and Jennifer Teague; great-grandchildren Barbara West; Joshua Weddle; Hannah Teague and Oliva Teague; sisters Sarah Surratt of Richmond, Va.; Evelyn Buchanan of Spartanburg, S.C..
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at 12:00 noon in Forest Lawn West Funeral Home Chapel in Charlotte, N.C. with Rev. Joe Denson officiating.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 am until service time at the funeral home.
Burial will be Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 12:00 noon in Monta Vista Cemetery.
Forest Lawn West Funeral Home & Cremation along with Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home will be handling the funeral service in Charlotte, N.C..
