Dorothy Lee Grant Warrick, 73, of Fries, VA passed away Friday, Dec. 5 at the Waddell Nursing Home in Galax. She was born May 17, 1935 in Henry County, Virginia to the late Roy & Vernie Mason Grant. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter Sharon Lee Warrick Gravley, brother Tommy Grant, Jr.,and sister Marie Matherly.

She is survived by her husband: William Paul Warrick of the home; daughter: Phyllis Anita Warrick of Woodlawn; son & daughter-in-law: William Paul, Jr. & Tricia Warrick of Woodlawn. Two sisters and their husbands also survive Josephine (Jo) Grant Gray & Ben of Martinsville, VA and Mary Ruth Grant Smith & Bobby of Stoneville, North Carolina. Two grandsons, four granddaughters, one great grandson, several nephews and several nieces by marriage also survive.

The family will receive friends Monday, December 8, from 1 PM until 2 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel. Pastor Ronny Harrison and Rev. Bob Adams will officiate. Interment will follow in Monta Vista Cemetery.
