Dorothy Lee Roop, age 65, of Fries. Va. passed away Saturday May 26, 2007 at her home. Mrs. Roop was born in Washington Co., Va. on May 25, 1942 to the late Howard & Helen Henderson Hoffman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Sonny Curtis Roop. She is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law David & Cindia Roop of Fries, Va.; Michael & Lori Roop of Pulaski, Va.; six grandchildren; one great-grandson and several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Monday, May 28, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Ben Haga and Rodger Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in the Fries Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from seven until nine at Grace Baptist Church.
