Dorothy Lee Reavis Belton's Obituary
Dorothy Lee Reavis Belton, 85, of the Baywood Community, Galax, VA passed away Sunday, November 11, 2012 in the North Carolina Baptist Hospital, Winston-Salem, NC. Mrs. Belton was born to Jim and Nellie Reavis on January 8, 1927 in Grayson County, Virginia.
She is survived by her husband: Warner Ray Belton of the home; daughters and sons-in-law: Janice and Doug Warf of Millington, Tennessee; Wanda and Allen Wingate of Galax, Virginia; sons and daughters-in-law: Bobby and Darlene Elliott of Fries, Virginia; Kenneth and Kay Belton of Galax, Virginia; sister Mildred Elliott of Galax, Virginia. Seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Baywood Wesleyan Church with Rev. Barry Miller officiating. Interment will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery in Galax, Virginia. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mrs. Belton's memory to the Baywood Search and Rescue Squad, 47 Cross Roads Drive, Galax, VA 24333.
