Dorothy Leonard Padgett's Obituary
Dorothy Leonard Padgett age 89 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, July 27, 2009 at Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Padgett was born on April 4, 1920 in Galax, Va. to Billie & Maude Bartlett Leonard.
She is survived by her son Barthel Padgett of Galax, Va.; step-son Kenneth Padgett of Galax, Va.; step-daughter Connie Hawks of Galax,Va.; one grandson Jared Padgett; three step-grandchildren; several cousins.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 2:00 pm in McKenzie Cemetery with Rev. Ted Bartlett officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:30 until 1:30 pm at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
