Dorothy Marie Horton's Obituary
Dorothy Marie Horton age 89 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, April 13, 2015 in the Waddell Nursing Home.
Mrs. Horton was born in Galax, Virginia on July 1, 1925 to George A. and Armindie Lawson Lineberry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Horton.
She is survived by her daughter Beverly Cooper of Galax, Virginia; sons and daughter-in-law Larry and Judy Chambers of Galax, Virginia; Eddie Chambers of Fancy Gap, Virginia; three grandchildren Terri Dunaway, Brad Chambers and John Daryl Paisley; two great-grandchildren Aiden Chambers and Isaac Chambers; sister Gertie Lorton of Radford, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Monta Vista Mausoleum with the Rev. Ted Bartlett officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
