Dorothy Hash Cox's Obituary
Dorothy Jenelle Hash Cox, age 82, of Galax, VA died Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010 at her home.
Mrs. Cox was born June 20, 1928 to Robert L. & Beulah Clyde Phipps Hash in Grayson County, VA.
Surviving are the following: husband, T.O. Cox, Jr., Galax, VA; daughters & sons-in-law, Linda & Terry Jemison, Alexandria, VA; Sarah & Ricky Gallimore, Galax, VA; son & daughter-in-law, Talmage and Dana Cox, Centreville, VA; grandchildren, Talmage O. Cox, IV, Kelly M. Jemison, Robert D. Cox, Douglas J. Jemison; sisters, Ruth Hampton, Galax, VA and Henrietta Cox, Bridle Creek, VA. Many nieces and nephews also
survive.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the First United Methodist Church, Galax, VA. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home, Galax, VA. Officiating ministers will be the Rev. Walt Simmerman and the Rev. Tom Ballard.
