Dorothy Gloria age 90 of Galax, Va. passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2008 in Waddell Nursing Home. Mrs. Gloria was born on February 26, 1918 in New York City, New York to Mr. & Mrs. Jacob Panasuk. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ismael Gloria. She is survived by her daughters Celeste Gloria of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Karen Karlick of New York City, New York; Lori Gilliard of Greenville, South Carolina; sons Ismael Gloria of New York City, New York; Arthur Gloria of Marion, Va.; seventeen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 2,2008 at 12 noon in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Father Charles Brickner offficating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
