Dorisene Bailey age 65 of Galax, Va. passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at her home. She was born on December 25, 1941 in West Virginia to the late Walter & Mary Brown Bailey. She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law Lynda & Larry Carpenter of Galax, Va.; sons & daughter-in-law Ronald Bailey of Galax, Va.; Ray & Patricia Bailey of Kanansville, Florida; sisters Marie Spruill of Okeechobee, Florida; Juanita Martin of Galax, Va.; brothers Lewis Bailey of Mississippi and Clayton Bailey of Galax, Va.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday January 20, 2007 at 2:00 PM in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Young officiating. The family will receive friends Friday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
