Doris Edna Russell age 75 of Hillsville, Va. passed away Thursday, August 27, 2009 at North Carolina Baptist Hospital.
Mrs. Russell was born in Grayson County, Va. on May 8, 1934 to Carl Luther & Mae Bowers Holbrook.
She is survived by her husband Coy B. Russell of Hillsville, Va.; daughters & sons-in-law Vicki & Ed Kellough of Watkinsville, Ga.; Tammy & Terry Anders of Galax, Va; grandsons John & Eric Kellough; Tyler Bond; sisters Lois Catron & Loretta Bryant both of Independence, Va.; several nieces & nephews.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, August 30, 2009 at 3:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Jeff Pickett officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery at Cranberry. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 until 3:00 at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
