Doris Rea Nelson Miller age 75 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, October 22, 2015 in the Waddell Nursing Home.
Mrs. Miller was born on August 22, 1940 in Carroll County, Virginia to Alfred Kent and Ora Belle Montgomery Nelson.
She is survived by her husband Rhudy Miller of Galax, Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Brenda and Lee Ring; brother Wade Nelson; sisters-in-law Mildred Christley and Betty Christley all of Galax, Virginia; brother-in-law Gleen Miller of Cana, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 22, 2015 at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Ron Hill and Dr. Ronny Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in the Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
