Doris Lee Haga Mottesheard age 80 of Fries, Virginia passed away Monday, September 18, 2017 at the Forsyth Medical Center.

Mrs. Mottesheard was born on October 4,1936 in Grayson County, Virginia to Ben Carson and Beulah Mae Jones Haga. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Buster Mottesheard.

She is survived by her daughters Karen Goad and Lisa Robinson both of Galax, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Charles "Eddie" and Victoria Mottesheard of Woodlawn, Virginia; two grandchildren Evan Robinson and Caitlyn Robinson; brothers and sisters-in-law Clifton and Mildred Haga of Jonesboro, Tennessee; Ben and Vicki Haga of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; special niece Sandy Dixon.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Grace Baptist Church with the Rev Ben Haga and Rodger Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from six until eight at the Grace Baptist Church.
