Dorcas Lenora Blevins' Obituary
Dorcas Lenora Blevins age 84 of Ivanhoe, Virginia passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at her home.
Mrs. Blevins was born on October 21, 1926 in Wythe County, Virginia to William Marshall and Alberta Edna Davis Ceary. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harvey Clyde Blevins and her daughter Lois Anders.
She is survived by her son James M. Blevins of Ivanhoe, Virginia; sister-in-law Daphna Rosenbaum of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; special friend Randy Taylor.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, January 20, 2011 in the Grace Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Rev. Ben Haga officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Peters Lutheran Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
