Donnie Keith Dixon age 36 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, January 22, 2018 in the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina.

Donnie was born on February 25,1981 in Galax, Virginia to Donnie Lee and Barbara Joan Jennings Dixon. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Betty Dixon of Fries, Virginia and maternal grandparents Ernest and Nellie Jennings.

In addition to his parents of Galax, Virginia, Donnie is survived by a son Dylan Dixon of Marion, Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Jennifer and Lee Coomes of Galax, Virginia; brother Chris Dixon and Drew Huff of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; paternal grandfather Clayton Dixon of Fries, Virginia; aunts and uncles Dianne and Ernest Davis of Fries, Virginia; Geneve and Ralph Smith of Galax, Virginia; uncle and aunt Junior and Frances Jennings of Glade Valley, North Carolina; niece Emily Coomes; nephew Matt Coomes; special friend Tabatha Zilles.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to Jennifer Coomes 168 Wildwood Lane, Galax, Virginia 24333 to be applied toward a college fund that will be set up for Donnie's son Dylan.
