Donna Warrick Hawks' Obituary
Donna Irene Warrick Hawks age 74 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.
Donna was born on August 7, 1943 in Grayson County, Virginia to Paul and Virgie Brewer Warrick. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Gayle Hawks and a brother Phipps Warrick.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Kendra and Shawn Wilson of Galax, Virginia; son and his fiance' Steven Hawks and Jennifer Pethel of Simpsonville, South Carolina; grandchildren Heather Jones and April Wilson; great-grandson Cayden Anderson; sister Shelby Shaffner of Fries, Virginia; brother William (Bill) Warrick of Fries, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 4:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Lee Thomas and the Rev. Joe Carrico officiating. Burial will follow in the Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 3:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
