Donald Scott Vaughan age 53 of Fries, Virginia passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at his home.
Donald was born on May 14, 1957 in Grayson County, Virginia to Lewis Ralph and Ina Funk Vaughan.
In addition to his mother Ina Vaughan of Fries, Virginia he is survived by daughters and son-in-law Crystal Vaughan of Cleveland, Tennessee; Amanda Vaughan and Richard Fisher of Providence, North Carolina; son and daughter-in-law Cody & Kristyn Vaughan of Walkertown, North Carolina; grandchildren Kaily Vaughan; Conner Flynn and Emmilyn Vaughan; sister Sharon Kay Vaughan of Fries, Virginia; brothers and sisters-in-law Jimmy Lewis and Brenda Vaughan; Timothy Joe and Gina Vaughan all of Fries, Virginia; niece Jennifer Taylor; nephews Brandon Vaughan and Chase Vaughan.
The funeral service will be Thursday, January 6, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Mt. Hope United Methodist Church with Rev. Tim Smith and Ricky Iroler officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from one until service time at Mt. Hope United Methodist Church.
