Donald Wayne Stanley, Jr age 32 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Saturday August 19, 2023 in the Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Donald was born in Haywood County, North Carolina on May 20, 1991 to Donald Wayne and Donna Leeann Mehaffey Stanley. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother Robert "Trey" Mehaffey.

He is survived by his mother Donna Stanley; sister Kristen Stanley both of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; a special aunt and uncle Roberta (Robby) and George Aviles of Woodlawn, Virginia; aunts and uncles Judy Stanley and Dewey; Cherryl and James Prevette; uncles and aunt Beaver and Ann Stanley; Johnny Stanley all of Mt Airy, North Carolina; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; special friend Dylon Potts.

There will be no services held for Donald at this time.

We're saying goodbye to a wonderful loving gentle giant and young man. He is loved by many and will be missed by many. Life will never be the same without him. He is with loved ones that are waiting on him. You may be gone but Never Forgotten. His time was cut short but we are trying to remember God must have a special plan for him. As he would say "Valhalla is Calling Me" Heaven is gaining a true Warrior. Safe travels my Son on your journey you have ahead of you. Love with All of our Hearts. You will be missed!
