Donald Bernard Raymer age 68 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Raymer was born in Washington, DC on September 6, 1940. He is survived by two sisters Pat Barr of Independence, Va.; Shirley Raymer of Maryland; one brother James Raymer of Washington, DC; several nieces & nephews; several friends and church family; special friend Frances Lora Cox of Galax, Va.. The funeral service will be held Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 1:15 pm at Blood Bought Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Tolley and Rev. J.R. Bowers officiating. Burial will follow in the Galax City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:30 until 1:15 pm at Blood Bought Baptist Church.
