Donald Harles Leath age 79 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at his home.

Mr. Leath was born on August 22, 1939 to Early Archie and Lena Beckner Leath. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Janet Willard Leath.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law LaDonna and Jimmy Haley of Pinnacle, North Carolina; son and daughter-in-law Myron and Doris Leath of Woodlawn, Virginia; grandchildren and spouses Seth and Brenda Webb Leath of Hillsville, Virginia; Shane and Lindsey Allen Leath of Fancy Gap, Virginia; great-grandchildren Savannah Leath; Bethanie Leath and Emma Leath; brother and sister-in-law Willard Leath and Angel Clark of Johnson City, Tennessee; nephew Bradley Leath.

The funeral service will be held Friday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Marvin Williams officiating .Burial will follow in the McKenzie Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from six until eight at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
