Donald Richard Haga, 83, (I'm A Blessed Man) of Alford Texas passed away on Feb. 1, 2022

Born on January 10, 1939, in Fries, Virginia to John and Gladys Haga.

Donald was a U. S. veteran (Army and Air Force) serving from 1957 to retiring in 1978.He also retired from the US Postal Service after 20 years of service.

Donald leaves behind his children: Kent (Nenette) Haga and Tiya (David) Anderson. Grandchildren:  Kentiya Haga, Jon & Tyler (Shelby)Schwartz, Samantha & Maggie Anderson. Great-granddaughter April Golden. Siblings: Johnetta (Jim) Harden,  Aaron (Pat) Haga. Several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. He is also survived by his beloved dog and companion: Marty

Beside parents, Donald was preceded in death by: Wife Peggy Haga Trohfolz (Mother of Kent and Tiya) and second wife Rebecca Haga. Also his brothers Charles Clinton and Raymond David Haga and sister-in-law: Jane Ella Vaughan Haga

The family will welcome family and friends at Mt. Hope UMC in Fries, Va. on Sat. Feb. 26 from 10 am to 11 am with funeral services following. The Rev. Ben Haga will be officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Hope Cemetery with Military Rites by the Grayson VFW Post 7726.
