Pastor Donald Gene (D. G.) Fox, age 87, of Galax, Virginia passed away at his home on Saturday, March 28, 2020.

Pastor Fox was born April 19, 1932 in Centerville, Iowa to the late William Burton and Donna Whitacre Fox. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Larry Fox and brother-in-law Howard Robb; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Delmer and Edna Kinzebach.

He is survived by his wife Janice Louise Kinzebach Fox of the home; two daughters and son-in-law: Pamela Craig of Galax, Virginia; Robin and Rick Dill of Richmond, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Kriss and Jackie Fox of Galax, Virginia; two sisters and brother-in-law: Judi Robb of Des Moines, Iowa; Sydney and Del Ashmead of Jacksonville, Florida; two brothers and sisters-in-law Bill and Joy Fox of Modesto, California; Doug and Reta Fox of Branson, Missouri; sister-in-law Anita of Arizona. Also surviving are ten (10) grandchildren, twenty-two (22) great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

There will be a drive thru visitation Monday from 12 noon until 3:00 PM at the McKenzie Cemetery with a private graveside service to follow. Pastor Jackie Poe and the Rev. David Hagee will be the officiating ministers. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to either the Gideons International P.O.
