Donald Ray Caldwell, 58, of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at his home. Donald Ray was born May 3, 1961 in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Billy Dean Caldwell and Rita Sue Allen Caldwell McKenzie.

In addition to his mother Rita Sue McKenzie of Galax, he is survived by sisters and brother –in-law: JoAnn Tarbox of Roanoke, Virginia; Helen Irene Edwards of Galax; Teresa Kay Bullion and Dean of Baywood, Virginia; brothers and sister-in-law Billy Dean Caldwell and Ricky Thomas McKenzie and Lisa all of Galax, Virginia. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services and burial will be held Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 3:00 PM in the Allen Cemetery. The family will receive friends July 6 at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home from 2:00 PM until time for the service.
