Donald Virgil Burcham age 59 of Galax, Va. passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at his home. Donald was born in Virginia on September 25, 1948 to Creed Elbert & Lema Eskie Monday Burcham. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Earl Ray Burcham. He is survived by a daughter Christina Beverly of St. Port Lucy, Florida; sisters & brothers-in-law Esther & Kenny Dillon of Canton, Ohio; Daisy & Coldon Linville of Hillsville, Va.; Joyce & Layne Bartlett; Evelyn & Randy Parks all of Woodlawn, Va.; brothers & sisters-in-law Elbert & Macie Burcham of Hillsville, Va.; Rev. Glenn & Barbara Burcham of Woodlawn, Va.; two grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. A graveside service will be held Sunday, August 3, 2008 at 10:00 am in Monta Vista Cemetery with Rev. Charles Moretz officiating. Military Rites will be conducted by Grayson VFW Post 7726. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
