Donald Earnest Anauo, age 79, of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday August 31, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Mr. Anauo was born in New York on December 21, 1938 to the late Charles and Beatrice Cazo Anauo. He is survived by daughters Teresa Anauo of Galax, Virginia and Ashley Anauo  of Florida; sons and daughters-in-law Harry Anauo of Galax, Charles Anauo of Virginia Beach, Mike and Rebecca Anauo of Fries, and Donald and Peggy Anauo of Ivanhoe.  Also surviving are grandchildren and spouses Billy Anauo, Chris Anauo, Joseph and Montana Anauo, Josh Anauo, Roger and Brandi Alley, Brett and Candice Anauo, Tariq Anauo, Nahara Lopez, Quiro Austin, Zaleah Lopez and Cheri Lawson; twelve brothers and sisters; ten great grandchildren; special friend Susan Sharp; special pet Miss Kitty; several nieces and nephews.

The memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 7:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Randy Brewer officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 11 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
