Dolores Ann Smith, age 83 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, April 26, 2021 in the Galax Health and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Smith was born in New Castle County, Delaware on June 29, 1937 to Carl and Myrtle Tarbutton Swanson.

She is survived by her husband Bobby G. Smith, Sr of Galax, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law Mildred Nagel and Kevin  of Wellington, Ohio;  son and daughter-in-law Bobby G. Smith, Jr. and Eileen of Smyrna, Delaware; son and fiance' J.D. Smith and Ann Hodge of Wilmington, Delaware; son Randy Joe Smith of Galax, Virginia; sister Barbara Fender of Bare, Delaware; brother and sister-in-law Carl F. Swanson and Cathy of Middleton, Delaware;  seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Debra Hall officiating. There will be no visitation.
