Dolores V. Ruler age 89 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, July 19, 2013 in the Golden Living Center.
Mrs. Ruler was born on November 22, 1923 in Cook County, Illinois to Stanley and Frances Laskowski Helma. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ernest L. Ruler and brother Phil Helma.
She is survived by her daughters Sharon Hawks of Galax, Virginia; Sandra Stackhouse of Naperville, Illinois; sons Wayne Ruler of Mountain Home, Arizona; Bruce Ruler of Aurora, Illinois; sister Grace Rhea of Downers Grove, Illinois; grandchildren Randall Hawks of Galax, Virginia; Theodore Ruler of Oswego, Illinois; Keith Kriglestein of Sycamore, Illinois; Cyndi Hudson of Woodridge, Illinois; Michele Cesario of Naperville, Illinois; one great-granddaughter Jennifer Ruler of Gaithersburg, Maryland; one nephew Patrick Rhea of Downers Grove, Illinois.
The wake will be held Friday, July 26th from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Chris Brunson Mobell Funeral Home. Mass will be held at the Our Lady of Peace Parish on Saturday, July 27th at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in the Clarendon Hills Cemetery in Darien, Illinois.
