Dollie Aleen Handy Littreal's Obituary
Dollie Aleen Handy Littreal (84) formerly of Fries, VA, went Home to be with her Lord on December 19, 2009 after a ten-year battle with Alzheimer's.
Mrs. Littreal was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Littreal of Fries, VA. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patsy L. Bowles and A. Eugene Bowles, Jr. of Atlanta, GA. Two sisters: Hattie H. Hill of Galax, VA and Margaret (Judy) Finnerty of Moyock, N.C.; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Littreal had lived in Atlanta for the last ten years, most of that time with her daughter and son-in-law.
The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Mt. Hope United Methodist Church on Wednesday, December 23, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. in the afternoon.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P. O. Box 96011, Washington, D.C. 20090-6011.
