Dola Gladys Woods Sapp, age 91, of Fries, VA died Monday, Aug. 1, 2916 in the Waddell Nursing & Rehab Center, Galax, VA.
Mrs. Sapp was born in Carroll County, VA, Jan. 20, 1925, to Charles & Callie Mayberry Woods. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Walter Sapp and son, Wayne Sapp, brothers, Vaughan Woods, James Woods, R.D. Woods, Howard Woods and sister, Iva Lee Hoosier
She is survived by sons & daughters-in-law, Ralph & Josephine Sapp, Creston, NC, Robert & Darnell Sapp, Fries, VA, Roger Sapp & Shirley Felts, Galax, VA; daughter-in-law Phyllis Sapp of Galax, VA; sister, Doralene Woods, Creston, NC. Five grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews also survive
A graveside service and burial will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, Aug. 4, 2016 at the Brown Cemetery, Rich Hill Road, Creston, NC. Visitation will be held at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home, Galax, VA, Thursday from 10:00 AM until noon. Officiating minister will be the Rev. Carleton Houck.
