Dickie Van-Brook Saunders age 68 of Hillsville, Virginia passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.

Dickie was born in Galax, Virginia on July 10, 1952. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Pam Brown.

He is survived by his wife Janet Farmer Saunders of Hillsville, Virginia; daughter Terry Brown of Johnson City, Tennessee; step-sons and spouse Richard Calvin and Debra Johnson of Galax, Virginia; Jason Todd and Karen Johnson of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; grandchildren Tristan Brown;Savanna Jo Johnson; Faith Baggatta; Noel Baggatta; several nieces and nephews; special friend Robert Earl Brown.

A graveside service will be held Friday at 1:00 PM in the Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery with Danny Tolley officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
