Diane Elizabeth Edwards age 52 of Independence, Virginia passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at her home.

Diane was born on November 15, 1967 in Brevard County, Florida to John Thomas and Linda Brown McMickle. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Brad McMickle.

She is survived by her husband Michael Edwards of Independence, Virginia; daughters and sons-in-law Elizabeth and Seth Sherlinski of Mifflinville, Pennsylvania; Ashley and John Herrmann of Anderson, South Carolina; three grandchildren London Sherlinski; Edward Sherlinski and Colton Sherlinski; sister and brother-in-law Becky and Dave Williams of Fries, Virginia; father-in-law and mother-in-law Jerry and Darlene Edwards of Independence, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; special friend Patti Rickman.

The funeral service will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM in the Pine Mountain Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Doug Stuart and Pastor Stacy Redd officiating. Burial will follow in the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Pine Mountain Pentecostal Holiness Church.
